The format is a breakfast session — deliberately informal, designed to create space for honest conversation about the things that don't get said in formal meetings. The theme for 2026 centres on the structural disconnect between technical teams and business leadership: security professionals who understand the risk but can't explain it, and business leaders who need to act but don't have the information to do so.
What Jonny will cover
Jonny's session will focus on how threat modelling bridges that gap by producing outputs that work for both audiences. Technical teams get specific, actionable findings tied to their architecture. Business leaders get a risk picture that connects to commercial outcomes — what's the impact if this goes wrong, and what does it cost to fix versus what it costs to ignore?
The discussion will also cover where security programmes tend to break down: the moment when findings get written into a report that nobody reads. Jonny will walk through what it looks like when the process is designed differently — where outputs feed directly into roadmaps, budgets, and board-level reporting rather than sitting in a folder until the next audit.
