Our Company

Threatplane was founded to help businesses get ahead of cybersecurity threats, so you can focus on building a great future.

Our Mission

Threatplane empowers technology businesses grappling with cyber security challenges.

Established in 2017, we have extensive experience securing applications across sectors including defence and intelligence, transport, manufacturing, Internet-of-Things (IoT), e-commerce and financial services. In high-sensitivity environments security considerations are paramount to ensuring the regulatory, reputational and commercial footing of applications.

Our approach connects business goals to technical controls so everyone around the table can understand what's at stake, can talk the same language and can take informed decisions that optimise the investment-risk tradeoff security requires.

We see great power in making cybersecurity accessible not just to technology teams but also to business leaders, and have seen it truly change from a brake to an accelerator in product development. The clarity this approach brings gives our customers the confidence to press ahead and build great products and services without security doubts holding them back or exposing them to serious risks down the line.

The pillars we run our business on

Business first

Security for its own sake leads nowhere. We help customers position security as a key business function that provides ROI and supports growth — not a tax on engineering.

Speed matters

Security is a dense, ever-changing topic that makes it easy to fall into rabbit holes. We ruthlessly focus on the speed of our process and respect your team's need for results quickly.

Deliver value, leave behind skills

Our training equips your teams with the skills to spot the majority of security challenges your organisation faces. We do not create dependency — we build capability.

Process builds excellence

Effective execution comes from simple, repeatable, self-reinforcing processes applied consistently. Our customers notice the difference immediately.

Why you won't see our clients' logos

Visibility in security can be a risk in itself. Our clients include major retail groups, critical infrastructure providers, and financial institutions. They bring us into their most sensitive architectural decisions. That information stays with us.

We respect the trust our customers place in us, and never use their names or brands directly for marketing purposes. The work speaks for itself.
