Threatplane sponsored and exhibited at the 9th Annual IoT Security Foundation Conference, held at The IET Savoy Place in London on 7 November 2023. The event is the world's longest-running conference dedicated to IoT cybersecurity, and brought together practitioners, researchers, policymakers and vendors from across the connected device security community.
About the conference
The 2023 conference theme was AI — how it intersects with IoT security, what new attack surfaces it introduces, and how the industry should respond. Speakers came from organisations including Arm, BT Group, The Alan Turing Institute, Microchip Technology, UCL and Bosch.
Threatplane's presence at the exhibition gave us the opportunity to meet the people building and securing connected products — exactly the audience we work with on threat modelling. Conversations at the stand covered everything from how to apply threat modelling early in hardware development to how manufacturers can build a credible compliance story for the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
