We're proud to announce that Threatplane is sponsoring CyberCon, part of the Bristol Tech Festival 2025. We're looking forward to supporting an event that brings together the South West's cyber security community in one place.
About CyberCon
CyberCon is Bristol's dedicated cyber security conference, running as part of the broader Bristol Tech Festival. The event brings together practitioners, business leaders, and students from across the region, covering technical security topics alongside the business and policy dimensions of cyber risk.
The 2025 event is organised by TechSpark, who run a range of technology events across the Bristol ecosystem. CyberCon has grown into one of the key annual events for the South West security community.
Why we're sponsoring
Bristol is our home. We're a South West business and the local tech and security community has been important to us since we started. Sponsoring CyberCon is a way to support an event that's doing genuinely useful work in bringing the community together.
We also believe that threat modelling is underrepresented in how most security programmes are designed. Events like CyberCon are one of the main ways that changes — practitioners share approaches that work, businesses hear what their peers are doing, and the standard of practice improves.
Bristol Tech Festival
Bristol Tech Festival is an annual celebration of technology, innovation, and digital culture in Bristol. It runs across multiple venues and hosts dozens of events, with CyberCon as one of the flagship gatherings for the security and risk community.

Jonny founded Threatplane in 2017. With a background in offensive security, he has spent 15+ years helping organisations across defence, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing understand and manage their technology risks.
